I would love to see Mariano start elclassico instead of out form Benzema. He scored his first hat trick and he assisted enzo's goal. For Mariano is man of the match but lets not forget the magical 17 year old Martin Odegaard, he has that messi golden touch on his feet and amazing dribbling skills. I hope zidane give odegaard some more minutes. And well done enzo he scored nice goal. future looks bright. HALA MADRID

There's something eerily satisfying with seeing the name "Zidane" up in the scorelines! Well done to the lads, they all played terrific. Props to Cultural as well for playing with honor throughout the entire series and never giving up.

I watched first 30mins and the best player on the pitch was Odegaard. Future looks great for Real, great youngsters :)

I know it's only a 3rd division team but this Mariano looks VERY promising. Looks very hungry and capable. Besides the 2nd goal, look how eager he is demanding the ball on the 3rd goal. Certain movement and body language "forces" players to find you with pin point accuracy, where as another striker would make a similar movement but receive a pass of lesser quality. This has everything to do with the strikers movement and energy, people often critisize the one delivering the cross.... Interesting, he was actually born in Barcelona! But his youth was at Espanyol...

For a decade I've been trying to think of something that I hate more than Ray Hudson's voice and antics, yet I can't come up with anything.
He sounds like a turkey on drugs! He needs to be muzzled or I'm gonna smash my television.

It looks like Real is doing better than Barca in terms of their young talents. Blame Luis Enrique.

While I think its great to be optimistic, you also have to be realistic. This is against a 3d spanish division team, which means realistically speaking, man marking in the box or anywhere on the field compared to a 1st division team is a lot looser, so the headers and crosses that assisted some of these goals where due to poor defense, which is expected from a 3d division team. Granted Real played well and so did Mariano, but to start him over someone who has experience is a bit out there. But who knows, I could be wrong and they should start him and see where it goes.
