The number of times a player scores with his first or second touch after coming on as a sub is uncanny. Fortunately for TFC it was Cheyrou and Ricketts, not Drogba.

To be honest Drogba just joined impact because he was getting old

Lucky enough to be at the game. Other than a brief few seconds after the Impact goals the place was a madhouse. Easily the most exciting game in Canadian football/soccer history, and many are arguing the greatest game and two game sets in MLS history.

I was too at the game. Awesome is an understatement. It's been long time since I enjoyed a TFC game so much. But did you see the prices for the Final?!

Nothing to say other than congrats Toronto. At least, we made it to extra time. :(

Thanks Emo - it was revenge for giving us the boot last season! 401 derby may be one of the best clashes in the MLS and it always a great game against MTL. Cheers man!

I know it's hard to be on the losing end of arguably the greatest game and two game sets in MLS history, but you were part of something incredible. Looks like a great rivalry has been cemented.

@busstop2001 Yep, I think we got a derby going from now one, I'm already getting over the lose though. I try not to get to emotionaly involved in my team games and results because if I did, I would be a terrible wreck after every defeat. XD

If you missed it, this was a fun game to watch. I am not a fan of either team, but it was a great atmosphere and game. Congrats Toronto. Drogba looked like he was sleeping out there the few plays I saw....

I understand bringing him in, as he is a legend, but it seemed the Impact shifted from the counterattacking with speed on the wings to dumping the ball to Drogba either centrally or on the wing. And that TFC had an easier time defending.

Best part was I got to watch it on a large screen with a couple great pints ;)

Well played Toronto. Atleast 2 sporting teams from there are doing well now; football(soccer) and basketball.

Raptors did, yep. Watched the whole of the post season. Hopefully they can build on that this year.
Also, TFC to win it all now!
