How are we ever gonna build a modern, quick and technical team who plays beautiful football, if he continues that 3-4-2-1 bullshit? Take the big european teams... Real, Barca, Bayern, MC, PSG... Even Roma, Inter, Juve... They all use 4-3-3. Only Chelsea are using that crap and their football is boring as hell...He is costing us not only this season, but a wrong 2-3 year building... Sad

And the fact that we continue to use Montolivo, Calabria, Borini and Calha-no-clue. Calha-no-clue got over an hour again yesterday. Did absolutely nothing bar one tame shot. I've no idea how he starts games. Kalinic as well is bereft of confidence. Both vs Juve and last night, he literally missed two sitters.

Yes, my man, i agree... But don't concentrate on individuals... Players come and go. The style of play is the hard part. If we get used to that garbage formation now, it will take us two years to come back to a normal 4-3-3 style. Take Napoli. They play like that for 5 years now, and they're excellent. That's really dangerous for us...

Aside from the players, my main issue with our play is the lack of tempo. The ball is moved too slowly and players taking too many touches. We're far too predictable. Take the game vs Juve. The build up was so slow, Juve were easily able to predict and see where the move was heading. We lack players with the ability to play one touch / two touch football, playing with a constant tempo and hence adding a certain level of unpredictability. Take one of Tottenham's goals vs Real Madrid. Ball gets crossed to the full back, and the expectation was that he would take a touch. But instead, he managed to get in a beautiful first time cross into the attacking player, completely catching real madrid off guard. Whether its an issue of system or fitness, our game is just too slow.

Very good analysis... I think it's the system. How can we be quick and unpredictable with three heavy rocks back and two heavy rocks in the mildfield. Not a chance! That's pure catenaccio, old fashioned and very, very bad for the eyes. We want football!! Since we don't have scoring wingers, he could use a diamond 4-4-2 with: Donnarumma-Abate, Mussachio, Bonucci,Rodriguez-Biglia,Kessie,Bonaventura,Suso-Silva,Kalinic... I think that would work, it would be fairly balanced

Bonucci's last ditch block a few minutes before half time was critical! In fact, he was near spotless the whole game! Credit where credit is due! I thought Chievo were poor when we played them, but unfortunately sassuolo are in a real bad way! They offered very little!
