Not anti Fenerbahce. We're just a bit confused as to how an Asian team from an Asian league are allowed to compete in European competitions. Turkish teams, Israeli teams...no idea why they're allowed in.

@milanlamiavita The league can choose which association they can play for. Also if you have a look on the world map, you will see it would be much more of a convenience for Turkish clubs to fly to Europe and play in a competition, than fly to Japan, China, Australia to compete. Imagine you would have to fly 20+ hours to an Asian CL game? And then fly back to compete in your own league 2 days later? I hope this clears a bit of your confusion :)

For as Gran Canaria is closer to Africa that it is to Spain. Though to say it is more of a convenience for them to play in Europe is a bit off the mark. I say that because 99.99% of the time, they get royally shafted.

@milanlamiavita Convenience is obviously one of the reasons why Turkey is playing in Europe. Also, a quick google search will show you why Israel does not play in Asia anymore. Las Palmas is in La Liga because Gran Canaria is part of Spain! Hence why they automatically play under the Spanish football association. And it is only a 2.5 hour flight to Madrid from Gran Canaria! Are you comparing this to 20+ hours from Istanbul to Sydney? On top of that, you are calling Turkish league an Asian League, even though Besiktas, Galatasaray, Basaksehir, Kasimpasa etc have their Home Stadium on the European continent.

@milanlamiavita Unless you are politically speaking that Turkey is not part of the EU, then Switzerland, Norway, Bosnia-Herzegovina, Serbia, Kosovo, Albania, Macedonia, Ukraine, Moldova, Iceland, Belarus, Russia should not be included in Europe. But hopefully, you are not politically speaking because I'm glad these amazing nations are playing European football. And if you are geographically speaking, your argument is completely invalid because Turkey has many clubs playing in the European part of Turkey.

BRAVO VARDAR! You've made the whole country proud! After the stupid loss against Copenhagen in the CL qualifications, now you've got much stronger opponent in Fener than the Danish team, and yet, you've managed to win! And when I come to think that almost no one (in Macedonia) believed that this is possible (hence the poor attendance - about 20K out of 36.4K), but you proved everyone wrong! If you'd played concentrated like this against Copenhagen (and didn't let a sure win slip through your fingers, with a man + on the pitch), now you'd be playing Astana, for a CL group stage, not Europa. A team that's weaker than Fener. But, let the past be in the past.
I know it'll be tough as hell in Istanbul the next week, but there's no such thing as impossible!

I don't really think so, however, he will need time to adapt to his new defender, switching team and not being sure of what your team-mate will do to defend is really difficult at first for a keeper. We seen it before with Bravo, we'll see it again with some other great GK in the future.

But I think Fenerbahçe are gonna eliminate them in Turkey. Vardar has no chance with this play.

Well, it's true that Vardar didn't show much on the pitch, but you have this kind of games every now and then. It was obvious that Fener's players are technically better and better individuals, but their teamplay is below their individual level. Anyway, luckily our goalkeeper had a good day and Fener's defense was plain awful. Credit goes to my Vardar for the fighting spirit. It's gonna be hell of a match in Istanbul for Vardar, but I hope we'll manage to survive with a scoreline that'll take us to the group stage.

Better for them to win like this, than to be far better on the pitch for most of the match, have over 10 shots on goal - like they were against Copenhagen - and lose at the end. Of course, Fenerbahce is the better team with bigger quality, but they didn't show it tonight on the pitch! Thus, Vardar deserved the win anyway!

@sinan1907 Just take Galatasaray for example man. You see how they played after they send their Turkish players? You need to send your Turkish players. They are mostly shit. Only Topal is good even though he scored the own goal. That could happen to anyone.
