Barcelona this, Barcelona that. Tata Martino is changing them in bad sense. Keep talkin haters, the only team still unbeaten in La liga.

This is where Messi is compared to other big players. The Betis players Kung fued Messi's right leg and you could clearly see Messi's leg bending, yet he still managed to stay on his feet. I swear if most players would be in this situation they would've made a theatrical dive and cry about it. On the other hand, it is so sad that refs of today need to see a player that dives and cries then they call a foul. They don't value those players who always stand their ground.

You can easily tell from the unhappy face of Neymar that he feels not included in the team.

I very much prefer Martinos approach to Barcelona style of play theres a lot of variation of play now with some long crosses and incisive wing play cutting into defence. This team seem more dangerous in attack for sure

Song is such a good passer he is the master of the long pass through the air and ground. He created so many goal for Van Persie at Arsenal.

you need to learn how to see what counts as an offside. the only one that is arguably offside is fabregas 1st goal ... the rest was onsite

Felt shame and sadness for Messi's injury. Don't hate on me, but he wasn't even fit to play. When he got subbed the speed of the game made it look like they got an extra player in comparison. I know this is a different injury than the one before, but he is still lacking fitness and rarely makes runs anymore. He needs to work hard to fully recover, for the sake of the team, the fans and football in general.

Left foot for assist, right foot and his head for a goal. Once again, named me a midfielder who is better than Fabregas?!

Yaya Toure? Mesut Ozil? Bastian Schweinsteiger? Ramires?I'd say Pirlo, Gerrard and Lampard too, but I think they are a little old.

Don't be silly, there are quite a few who are better, and even more who suit much better to Barcelona's style of play. If Cesc returns to the PL, he might be the best midfielder of the world, but not in Barça's current system, he doesn't suit it.

and by the way, Busquets is better

@BurntIce Give me a break Schweinsteiger, Ramires, Yaya Toure??! Ozil is right up there. But god damn don't compare those likes of players to Fabregas, he is playing the best football of his career at the moment. Played as a false 9, center midfielder, attacking midfielder and defending midfielder all season long and has 7 goals and 8 assists. Not bad for a general midfielder eh mate?

...what I'm saying is Barca and Spain are having historic runs, and it's great that we can see it with our own lives, but just as other historic runs (Madrid in the 50's, Benfica in the 60's, Ajax in the early 70's, Munich in the mid 70's, Liverpool in the late 70's and early 80's, Milan in the 90's, Barca in the 00's), they don't reflect the future of what will happen.

Barca's success is unsustainable. It's almost the same style that won Ajax their European cups and took Holland to two WC finals. In fact, Barca and Spain are a product of Ajax and Netherlands. They have been successful because of the quality of players, but that can't last forever. Plus, they're very beatable, Munich dominated them last year and Chelsea dominates them every time they play (terrible refereeing in '09 aside), because they couldn't match their physicality. Spain was dominated by Brazil in CC and Zidane's France in 2006...

Why do barca keep playing messi if he not fit? It seems if he is not improving by playing while recovering

It's quite sad. Of course Barca could still win, it's versus Betis who is in the bottom of the table. However, we as football fan wanted to see some magical performance from Messi, something beautiful and enjoyable to watch. It didnt happen. Btw, again Messi showed he would never dive, the guy got a ridiculous challenge that lead to an injury and he still ran and tried to pass... hat off. From an MU fan
