Should've replaced Benzema/Higuian with Cavani/Suarez in the summer, the midfield was never Madrid's issue...too bad their president is only interested in chasing the hype instead of quality. Great game by Atletico and Costa!

The Free Kick right in front of goal Real Madrid had I think Bale should of taken it !!! Ronaldo shouldn't be taking all free kicks he should share it with Bale ....I remember watching Bale in Spurs have great success with free kicks where as ronaldo 90% of the times misses ... not the same ronaldo from man utd days @ free kicks

This is the best thing that could have happened to Madrid. We need to thank Atletico for exposing our weaknesses. Now we have no choice but to fight back in every game no matter who the opposition. Every player will need to prove their worth and pay back the fans. Bale said it right "It was a fantastic experience and I have to play better every day to pay back that affection" good lad that's what I like to hear. Unleash the fury. Now we will see what this team is made of.
